I think it works. Of course there is no bass guitar but it is what it is. I listen to it often and like it.

Thanks for the post. I don't think you can tell if they are U87s or U67s on the bass and Musicman rigs. I would guess U87s. They are next to identical except for the battery window on the U87. I actually just saw an interview with Eddie kramer and he indeed did say most everything was replaced except for the drums and Peters vocals. He said everyone was jumping aorund to much. Guitars out of tune etc.

I am sure parts were fixed in the studio like most live recordings. Along with looped crowd noise.
It does have a great sound and feels like a rock and roll show.

I will say my CD version sounds very thin compared to the vinyl. Still have it from my youth.
