FS: Digidesign / Avid MBOX2, LIKE NEW! (PT9 eligible)

I have a MBOX2 for sale w/ PT 7 on it, fully eligible for the PT9 crossgrade. Still has all the discs, paperwork, cables, etc. I can do a transfer of ownership with Avid once sold. I know if you have PT HD 9 licence and use it on a computer w/ PT9 loaded but no HD hardware, it boo...

HD7 + PT9 (non-HD) = ?? + other 9 versions questions

1) What happens if you put an iLok into a system (that has no HD cards) that contains an HD7.x license and a PT9 (non HD) license? 2) Will it just run as PT9 or will it have the CPTK functionality? 3) When you do an HD9 upgrade, does it surrender ALL HD licenses or just 1? can I retain my backup 7.2...

PS. I really question whether most studios do have separate amps.. some studios have 5+ pairs of passive speakers and only list "bryston 4B" or whatever for their amp. I can't imagine they've bought 5 of those, just seems like bizarre expense.

NOEQ - It CANT be done before the power amp because the powerered signal (after the amp) is what needs to be routed to one or another set of speakers.. Think through the routing of running multiple passive speakers off one amp (one pair at a time). VOLTAGE SPIKES Some units, including the Adcom GFS ...

I think for $50, I'll just save time and buy the Adcom.. For how long it would take me to make a 3 pr. routing system, it's a no-brainer for me.... did I mention I'm not experienced w/ a solder iron? haha.

I think I may grab an ADCOM GFS (about $50, can get 3, 4, or 6 pair versions).. takes up to 200W / ch. which is what I need (if those watts are measured the same as my amp, which is an ADCOM GFA 555)..

Unless anyone has a better idea.
