Really, no one had anything truly great to say about this shit? fuck it. I quit. No one's ever given a shit about anything I've ever done and I just cannot fucking take it any fucking longer. I'm broke, living in my parents' basement, with no job, no car, no opportunities, no job skills because i've...

I was kinda hoping for the physics lesson on why stereo guitars aren't as loud in mono.

Audix i5? put an mxl on your snare. did i just say that? it was a joke. don't. in all honesty my all time favorite is the sm7 for intimate snare stuff, and atm41he for loud rock snare. of course i never ever listen to the snare drum from 2 inches away, so i wouldn't know what that should sound like...

Audix i5? Neumann KM84? Nady Starpower 3? all of those are better choices! No way! NADY? you are kidding right? audix??? hahahaha - and then you're gonna run it through your behringer tooob preamps? Neumann km84? everybody knows that mics not half as good as the KM184! (atleast for lead vocals). wh...

my votes for none at all. If you have a great sounding room there's no reason to put a fake reverb on the vocal. use what you have. that's how signature sounds are discovered. Plus i get claustrophobic in vocal booths. if you must have a dead dead vocal sound gobos are great.

Sometimes hard-panned elements disappear when mono-ized. They sound louder when they're all the way out there on...

I did this with phase. i don't remember how exactly, but, i ended up automating the phase (or something like that as it was 6 years ago) but, it was just some sparkle in a dead part of a song and it actually isn't widened, it is something you can pin point where it is as it goes behind you. think ab...
