Lots of Tape Op magazines FREE Austin, TX area only
I have several(2007-2017 some missing) of Tape Op. I'm moving, and I'm not taking them with me. I won't ship. If you're in the north Austin-Round Rock-Georgetown area, I'll meet you and you can have them. Otherwise, they go to recycle in a week.

Furman SB-1000 UPS - not working - FREE if you pick up
I got this in a rack I bought a few years ago. I have never used it. It doesn't power on. From everything I read online, it might just needs new batteries. But at about $47+ x 3, (see http://www.proaudiosolutions.com/BATTSB-1000-p/battsb-1000.htm) I'm not willing to put money into it to see if that ...

Steinberg Cubase VST 24 3.6 with hardware dongle
Circa 1998. Install CD with hardware dongle. Before I throw it out, wanted to see if anyone wanted it. Pretty useless unless you still run Win95/98. Don't think it would run on XP. Totally old. Totally legit.

Couple of things to think about that may help you. Audiofire12 does 24bit 192kHz, Mackie only does 96kHz. Mackie has ADAT I/O, Audiofire12 doesn't. Do you need 12 channels of ADC/DAC? Looks like the Mackie only has 8 channels of conversion. Can you bypass the Mackie pre's if you want to use outboard...

A few items that have to go
I have the following I'm trying to clear out of the house: M-Audio Delta 1010 - In good condition. I kept it around as a backup and used it once last year. Worked flawlessly. Minor rack rash on the top/bottom. Only used in my non-smoking home "studio" $250 M-Audio Trigger Finger - Had this a few yea...

I have both a focusrite Octopre and Yamaha MLA8. I find that the Yamaha MLA8 is the cleaner of the two. Doesn't seem too colored. These are supposed to be the same pres as in Yamaha's DM2000 digital board. I tend to use the MLA8 when I want to capture something really clean. But I prefer the Octopre...

Well after spending a lot of time with the demo, I went for it. It's not often I'm willing to spend that much on a plugin for something that's a hobby for me. But I think it's worth it. I found it did a nice job of giving the drums a very 3 dimensional sound. I pretty much strap it across every buss...
