Ultratouch R Rating
We just moved and I'm renovating the basement for my studio. I'd like to go the ultratouch route this time. Anybody know what R Rating I should get for bass traps? I'm gonna need a lot of this crap. I've also got a section of ceiling I took down (it was textured and the rest was flat). Gonna cover t...

Anybody used Abet Disc for replication before?
http://www.abetdisc.com Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I couldn't figure out where to put it. Has anybody ever used these guys before? They've got some really good prices, but I haven't heard much about them. My album's almost done and I can actually afford these guys. I'm always a bit skepti...

I'm gonna totally avoid answering the question and talk about mic placement too. I've got somebody else mixing my album right now so I don't have to screw with the eq. I really like putting a mic so it's looking down the neck of the guitar. It still sort of points at the 12th fret, but is usually up...

SONAR gripe
I've been using Sonar since before it was Sonar and I really like it. At least we're comfortable with each other. That is, until I start to export stems. How many freaking things do I have to check to make sure that my stems aren't bumped up 3db? It's ridiculous. Checking the panning laws and whatno...

I sent out an email and asked for money. Figured I needed 50 people to give 50 dollars to pay for mixing and mastering. I'm not into asking for money usually, but I was pretty low key about it in the email. I had a lot of family and friends help out. Some gave me more than $50. In return, they get a...

here's a good integration of Bandcamp into a site http://www.romancandlemusic.com/index.p ... &Itemid=84 . This is just a band I really like. Looks like they just used the wrapper on their joomla site to make it work. They managed to hide the bandcamp footer too.

I'm pretty sure. I have to have the clock set to 96k for it to play back right. Otherwise, it plays way too slowly. Maybe it's 44.1 with some kind of timestamp at 96? I don't know if that's even a reasonable suggestion. At any rate, I loaded the mixdown (which was supposedly at 24/44.1) into audacit...
