Just found that trying to move the switch is the biggest pain in the ass. The 4 were all with the bass roll off

I compared it to a 57 on top of the snare. The 57 seemed to have more bottom to it compared to the re11, I might place the re11 on bottom and the 57 on top. Has anyone tried it on eltrc gtrs?

[/quote]I use the RE11 all the time as a "wild card" mic for the drums. I will drop it under the floor tom, or under the leg of the kick, or in a mic box 10 feet away... or in a trash can, or in a corner under a sweatshirt or in a drum case... I have also used it as an outside kick mic for a knockie...

On the side of the can tells me that it has 3 32uf capacitors with 425v surge.

I recently found an old tape recorder in the attic, a sobell festival? I thought it would be fun to use it again but I can't remember the last time it was used so i'm going to replace the capacitors first. Electrovoice re11

I just bought 4 of these off ebay and was wondering what it works well on. Also there is a switch on the microphone, what does this do? I've tried to find info on it but there wasn't much.
