A jaunty number wants to be certified!

Hey I'm a keen fan of recording and have recently joined a new band, I have previously preferred tinkering at home on an old pro tools rig. We tracked a new song the other week, very different for me in method too but if anyone wants to be bored about that I would be delighted to detail! Anyway I wo...

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I will try to read up on them soon but I checked the metric halo and sadly don't think i can warrant that kinda money yet.

I don't suppose I need to ask, but hey while I'm here, what do you think of Protools mbox system?

I have the availability to use both firewire or usb, i suppose though that firewire is the best choice?

I think I may just use it for small jobs, maybe 2-4 tracks but i wouldn't rule out anymore.

So i broke out the soldering iron and connected an xlr at the input and the output cause connectors on the deck didnt work with anything i had. It's noisy as hell and needs to be put through a...

Hi just to update I bought the organ and everything seems fine except for the fact that it is really out of tune!! I recorded it and then had to pitch shift it about -40 cents before it was in tune with other instruments. I was wondering if there is any way of tuning the instrument itself? I opened ...

Thanks for the warning DJ LBP but not to worry because this thing looks like it is cased in grey plastic. Kids toys from the 70's certainly don't have the glow in the dark colour schemes that the modern equivalents' have. Drumsound I like your theory!! If all else fails and it sounds like a boat doc...

i dont know, the avension for all its simplicity seems to be too expensive for what you are buying. as you have mentioned the bss has a lot more features and is listed at $130 new.

What DI box would you recommend?

I am looking to buy a new di box, at the moment my behringer is working well but i think it is time for an upgrade. what would you recommend as an excellent di box? i have read that the avalon is pretty much the best but is there nothing that can compare at lower price?
