I wonder if they will come in 67 tea chests or if they have found a better way to store them.

I love this on electric gtr! I find it to be bit too noisy for most of the voice over work that I do and I haven't been happy with it on on a musical vocal performance either, at least with the singers/songs that I've tried it on. I've been meaning to try this after a DBX160a (or any other comp) in ...

BLA modded 002 mix samples
Hello I was wondering if anyone has a song that was mixed and bounced on the standard 002 and version of that same mix bounced with the BLA modded 002? Did you hear a difference? If so would you be willing to share them? It would be cool to A/B these two. I've heard samples of tracking with the BLA ...

MT is right about the wax, especialiy if you can open it up by tugging on your lobe. I too just went to the doctor for this issue. They used warm water and big syringe (without a needle) and that was it. They filled up the syringe with warm water and flushed my ear out. I imaginge you could try this...

most ribbons I have tried do sound different on the back and front sides. That's interesting. Thanks for the tip. I have a decent ribbon collection; AEA, Shinybox, Octava, Cascade, Nady and I never even thought about trying the negative side of the mic other than in MS. I can't wait to try this out...

Ribbon Mic flavor options
I remember reading that the Royer ribbons exhibit different qualities depending on which lobe was pointed at the source you were recording.
