i sample a lot of vinyl. so if i normal my turntable to a sampler sequencer, i wouldnt need to patch them together, saving a patch cable. now if i wanted to patch the turntable to another sequencer, or tape deck, i could just use patch cables for that. but 99.999999999% of the time i feed sampler 1...

I normal anything that I have going to a particular destination more than 50% of the time.
