On the t.c. side, I've really liked the Reverb 4000 (the stereo version of the 6000). A lot of very useful, high quality stuff in there. The M3000 is another fav. For Lexicon, the 300 is pretty nice when you don't have the cash for a 480 or 960.

Generally, Lexicons are more "lush" while t.c.'s tend to be more "realistic". Kind of apples and oranges. I generally end up using both types in a single mix. Having used both the PCM91 and the M3000, I like the M3000 better. And to edit, it is much easier to quickly get to what you need on the M300...

The tripod with casters stand is the Ghost made by SE Electronics. It runs about the same as the higher priced Atlas SB36. And On Stage came out with a stand like the lower priced Atlas SB11 (heavy iron base and casters) which is around $130.

Coleman Audio, Furman, Wackie (Mackie) and ProCo also make what you're looking for. Though it may appear to be pricey, the Coleman stuff is head and shoulders above the rest.
