But bottom line, awesome idea with the refridge lol...

It's funny how your perspective changes, from reading post #1 through the rest of the thread... The first thing I thought was, yeah man I feel your pain, before I had decent ad/da I'd start mixing and things sounded completely like suck compared to the tracking :P Then after a while of adjusting to ...

IMHO the RE vs ER differences lie in the attitudes of the people involved. Theater- Stage performance, live acting, plays, storytelling people and places.. People struggling to make a living and trying to do their best to represent content. Theatre- A mind set of hollier than thou-ness, people who a...

Yeah I hate knowing so many things about people I don't know... Or thinking I do from what I've been told by someone else... I'd rather have no presumptions without having actually spoken with someone. That being said, my chances of meeting Mr. A. are between slim and none, slim having left town I d...

Victor or Bela from the Flectones,
These guys always end up in the production credits and I know at least a few of their discs were done in home studios on VS-? whatevers!

And their sounds have always been fantastic to my ears.

One more thought, Lets just say, for the sake of argument, money is totally an issue.. ;) What are some of your opinons on the Value of the BLA mod, VS a few outboard pre's? Meaning, If I scratch up the $400 clams, would I be better spending it on the bla mod, or a few of those 12ay7's? Or forgettin...
