small... like less than one hundred if possible. i don't know about runs that small. united might do it but you'd get hit with a $60 "under 500 copies" setup charge and still have to buy 1000 labels (that's the minimum run) and pay the same ammount for mastering (which is where you really run into ...

i would love an mtr90, but all the ones i'm seeing listings for are $10k+markpar wrote:You can find an MTR-90 (Otari) for that price range, too. I'd go with that, if possible. They were known for being built like a tank and sounding good.

would an otari mx80 from the late 80's for around 5 grand be a good deal? i'm seeing a couple of those and that's around my budget.
