Is there a difference in latency? Have any of you had success running multiple audio tracks out of a laptop in a live situation? (and...

Does this exist?
Ok - don't laugh - I mocked this up in photoshop.
Does anyone know of a piece of rack gear that looks like this?
(or is it something I would need to make myself?)
I want something that I can zoom around the studio and keep at eye level...

Help me buy an amp
Hello, SO I've spent the last year recording our new CD and we are about to mix the thing. Right now I am having trouble with my home amplifier (an ADS A2) which feeds a pair of ADAM ANF10. The main problem I am having is with the "loudness" button on the amp - if I mix with it off - the bass is qui...

Here's my question: How to I monitor playback of the computer? Without adding playback to the main mix? I have the amp and...

Re: Cables?
NeglectedFred- that is a great idea!
hmm, upon further thought -
why not install the layla backwards in the rack-- that way the cables go directly into the layla?
anything wrong with this idea? (besides wear and tear on the layla inputs and outputs)

I'm thinking I need sixteen 12 inch cables? (Really they are all gonna be diffe...
