My Bloody Valentine @ San Francisco

Saw them Tuesday. Amazing show and uh.....well......loud. Wore earplugs but would occasionally take them out to hear the high end swirl. Total sensory overload. So glad I got to see them.

I learned all about some scarcely mentioned English niche scenes that these folks were part of - anybody ever...

to me endless 100+ degree sunny days are far more depressing than rain or cold. I love overcast days when there's no sun.

HEALTH: Who engineered this amazing album?

Anyone who is into the LA noise scene has probably heard this album. It was recorded at the Smell which I have heard is tiny. Some of the most abrasive and difficult music I have heard but the sounds are lovely! Anyone have any idea on who contributed to this album?

What's goin on?: Marvin Gaye

I found this on vinyl the other day and listened to it straight through. I had no idea that it was basically a concept album and that all of the songs are basically a variation of the title track. It's amazing how the first side builds up to "Mercy Mercy me"....its really captivating and stunning, I...

How about the scene whenever that butthole Courtney from the Dandy Warhols is recording a vocal with a towel on his head and realize how shi**y his voice is then they cut straight to the finished version and you realize how treated his vocals are?

The Dandy Warhols are talentless buttholes.

Anton is talented and has a good ear but is a butthole himself.

The movie is very entertaining though.
