I've also been looking at/considering one of these decks. I'm now sending my individual tracks out of Samplitude and summing through an analog mixer. I only have 16 tracks of A/D D/A and alot of times I use them all so I was either considering buying another 2 channel A/D box (maybe the new BLA box)...

I just did 4 channels and used some NOS Magnatek Triad A57J 600:600 transformers that I luccked out and found where I work still in the boxes, probably from the 70's yet. These pres sound excellent! Thanks to digitaldrummer for all the info he has posted on these. It helped me tremendously!
