that omni mic in the reflective sideroom definitely sounds like the secret weapon, man. really awesome sound. i just got a fathead myself earlier this year. those things are excellent. thanks, those drums are the result of some fairly cheap stuff working well together, and the all important sound of...

just started listening -- i'm really liking this a lot. the drums sound really cool. are the mics just sitting across the room from the kit? whatever you're doing, i like it. there's a lot of nice space throughout, and i'm a sucker for that plaintive piano sound in "great sea..." in the interest of ...

i think it sounds pretty good! my main issue is the drum sound. the kick is a bit lost in there. are the drum tracks all separate or mixed already? maybe you used only one or two mics on the drums, and just some adjustments in mic placement is all you need. also everything has a little bit of a dull...

the vocal could maybe just use something to set it back in the mix -- as was said, it's very dry. i kinda feel the same way about the guitars, too, maybe just a little bit more room or something. were they recorded direct? if so, maybe just run them out to some speakers in a room and mic that to ble...

http://rapidshare.com/files/196440265/04_Terns.mp3.html i'm really digging this. very cool vibe, and the drums are very Neu! i love the dynamic building and falling of the tune. the bird loop at around 4:20 has a little click at the loop point that was a little distracting, but it doesn't really de...

digital mozart
recently for a bit of fun i recorded the first part of Mozart's Requiem entirely on synths. okay, to be entirely truthful, i used a sampler, too, but for only one part.
anyway... hope you enjoy it!

Re: Microkorgs and Reason 4... need midi help
hello! i haven't used reason or that microkorg specifically, but most of the stuff at play is pretty global. so i'll have my go at helping out on that stuff, and if there's anything specific to reason or the korg that i missed i'm sure someone helpful will pop up! first thing to check would be all y...
