Does anyone recognize the mics on the drums? I can make out what looks like a ribbon on the snare and a dynamic on the floor tom.

Thanks for the articles. I should have known Gabe was using "shitty" micing techniques. I'm a huge fan of using two or three mics on the kit and let musicianship give the record it's sound. My home recordings usually wind up with an MD 421 about a foot in front and pointed at the upper right corner ...
