I picked up some pegboard, glued the foam to the pegboard, and then hang the pegboard from molding hooks with clear picture-hanging "wire". Working well so far (only did this a wk ago), and easy to adjust the "liveness" of the room by how many of 'em I have hanging. For the ceiling, I just used som...

Acoustic foam idea...
Ok so I have a whole bunch of acoustic foam. I rent a house so glue or anything to the walls a lot is out of the question. I was thinking of gluing them on plywood and then setting the plywood up on the walls? Any opinions?

TOTALLY!!
One thing also is the teisco or tiesco (spelling?) guitars that are reaching over 1000 bucks. I am totally confused at that.

Things just become collectible no matter if they are good quality, better quality or great quality. I agree the late whammy models are better but people are stupid and think it is better to own the original, if it is better or not. I do not see a point in it if you are a working musician but whatevs.

You may want to try a new battery too. I tried that and it still was barely audible with the amp dimed. I was hoping someone could make a quick suggestion - and for some reason I cannot make myself give a 3 yr old a working SM57, even though its much more robust build etc. I need every 57 I can get...

I've always gamed on my DAW, never had problems. You can always dual-boot and that completely avoids any issues. I'm going to put in my obligatory vote for not building your own computer because then you don't have a comprehensive 3-year warranty and you may end up spending more time fixing your co...

That would not make much sense to me. Go out by something and not have it be what I need. I would rather ask straight questions and receive straight answers and learn before buying. That seems like the smarter thing to do. Research, get opinions, then buy. Maybe I was asking too much ? I will prb ju...

So you mean by BUSS, like self powered units? Besides the motu traveler what other interfaces run off batteries? I just find desktop's to be more beneficial in recording. My laptop is nothing to record on. Believe me. Besides quad core, 8gb ram, 1 tb of HD space. Why would I even want to record on a...

I need to be able to record a band live at times. I like the idea of having pre's on a lot more than 2 channels. Why are a lot of PCI card required interfaces more than fire wire ones, if they are not better? What do you mean by buss'? Im dumb. 2 computers? HAHAHA. Yeah right. I have one pretty nice...

PCI vs Firewire
What is better?
What are some good PCI interfaces?
It looks like everyone kinda ditched PCI.
