I use to do the same thing and I used a shure beta58a with a lexicon mpx 500 with a footswitch and it worked very very well

I also used an audix om7 mic sometimes.

I found this to be a really cool setup and sound very amazing.

Hmmm do you know how to go about doing so?.....

Any idea on what this unit is worth?

Could not find anything as far as ones that have been purchased/for sale.

I think the ampex am10 brochure says its a mic mixer but I was reading some use it as a pre amp.

Has or does anyone use one of these units? Put your two cents in on quality and street value.

This thing sounds AMAZING!! I dont want to sell it but I need to buy more recording gear. Shipping it would be very expensive so I am hoping someone in the Northwest would be interested. I think you may be right after further investigation. They have tape,tuner,phono but also instrument choices on the unit. So I am guessing they prob are not that great for mic pre's. Thanks

Im looking at krundaal mic thats 50 bucks. Model 601 to be exact. Anyone heard of these or used them? I have never even heard of the brand.
