I wouldn't recommend the cr14. I just bought one, and returned it right away...dark, muted, uninteresting....I have a pair of the ck1s and they are great, just don't dig the cr14.

wiring a leslie for reamping help

I'd like to rewire my leslie 125 input to accept 1/4" instrument cables....If, I wired the AC inputs of the leslie to a IEC cable, and the the unbalanced input to a female 1/4"....would this work?...The audio signal coming into the leslie would be post mic pre. Also what would I need to do about the...

i picked up a pair of avantone ck1's not too long ago, and have been really digging them for overheads.....i think you can still get them for $150 a piece....they enhance the high end a little, but its not harsh...you may want to check them out

if your going to use sound replacer i would just go with a better sounding snare from outside of the song...it just sounds a little thin and undefined....but you could do much worse....its not aweful

i think something simple that would greatly improve things is some air in the vocal....maybe trying to get a little more crack out of the snare
