Nah, it's misleading. It's the kind of statistic that folds in your sales with thousands of others of all kinds, including NIN and Jay-Z, to come up with some kind of weird fantasy composite that doesn't shed any real illumination on anything for anyone. Computers are dumb, they don't know the difference between a superstar's music files and someone just starting out. So everyone gets the 24-hour turn around. Sounds to me like you didn't get 24-hour turn time? That means something may have gone wrong. Write support@tunecore.com. That goes for anyone...

FYI, that "$179" thing is a nonsense number created by someone unconnected to TuneCore, who is missing considerable data. You can put it out of your mind, it's meaningless. The idea of an "average artist" cracks me up, even as a mathematical concept. I've never even met an artist who described their...

Not entirely sure what you mean by an end-of-month sale, I don't have a program going like that, though we've many specials that can do something similar!
Another cool thing about TuneCore--we love Tape Op!
Holler if you have any questions about us.

tunecore, though I'm not sure they're reporting everything... We totally are. I process the incoming files myself, if there's a row with a UPC or an ISRC on it with sales activity, downloading or stream, we put it into the owner's account. Just wanted to let you know we're very serious about this: ...
