FREE STUFF!! Fostex 812 and Hill Audio board

Free if you come get them this week in Lexington, GA (20 minutes from Athens, GA). You gotta take both of them, because I need to get them out of here. Fostex 812 mixer - dusty from storage and a little beat up, but I used it as a keyboard mixer, and it worked fine for that. Hill Audio Soundmix 24/4...

"Honky Tonkin" - Hank Williams - definitely one of the greatest one-chord songs. "Rainy Day Sunshine Girl" - Faust "(Licking is) What They Really Do" - Summer Hymns - (the band I play in, but I do think that it's a pretty fine one-chorder - I didn't write it, so I can say that, right?) http://www.mi...

Summer Hymns

Our label, Misra, has "leaked" a few songs from the upcoming album to some MP3 blogs, etc. A couple songs are linked here: http://www.thetripwire.com/news/2006/8/23/download-new-tracks-from-summer-hymns Those two songs, "Pity & Envy" and "Start Swimming" were mostly recorded somewhere other than at ...

FS: Wurly spinet piano w/Hammond Solovox keyboard & tone

FOR SALE: $500 obo. Wurlitzer spinet piano (acoustic upright) in good shape (needs tuning, of course) with Hammond Solovox and Solovox tone cabinet. The Solovox is sort of an old 1930's mono synth. Last time it was fired up, it worked. The piano is in decent shape but needs tuning. The Solovox and t...

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the bass sound. We agonized over just what to do for a bass part and a bass sound for a long time. It's a relatively simple G-C-D song, so we didn't want a "bar band" sounding bass on it, and I think what ended up on it is cool too. I agree about the harmonica....

Just found this in the Digidesign answerbase. Isn't this the answer I'm looking for? How to sync two Mac CPU's and two Digi 001's together. Cable Connections: Connect Two Digi 001's together via S/PDIF (Out to In, In to Out) and MIDI (Out to In, In to Out). In OMS and Pro Tools: In OMS > There shoul...

28"-30" is a standard height for work desks, and that's the height I'm planning for the console we're designing. That makes it sound like I'm having some fancy shit built for me - I just mean that the desktop on the thing we're going to build in the shop from MDF is going to be 29" high, with cutout...

I have an Orban rack mono spring reverb that I might be up for selling. The control unit is 1RU, and the springs unit is 2RU, but you could rack the 2RU springs unit on the back of your rack so as not to take up so much space on the front. Email me if you're interested - chris@illuminatiaudio.com.

I've got a lot of decent pres, and have basically stopped looking so I can focus on buying a few other things I need, but the EH 12AY7 is one more pre I'd think about buying. As for the "warmth" of the Focusrite Platinum Voicemaster, the Voicemaster does have the "vocal saturator" tape emulation thi...
