If you use invoices you can get a collection agency to try to collect the bill without paying for an expensive lawyer. Also, as per the above debate you would still have to file and claim deductions which may or may not be approved by the IRS, you can't just assume that whatever you bought would be ...

Skreddy Pedals

I am particularly interested in the Skreddy Echo, the sound clips and videos sound great. Has anyone ever ordered one of these? Apparently you have to pre-order, which makes me a little nervous.

On an unrelated note, I see you are in the Purdue/Indiana area...I might be going there for grad school; can you tell me anything about life in Lafayette Indiana?

This is about a guy who works at the studio run by Mothersbaugh; there is some cool footage of some of the really old synths they have there.

Now that I'm 33, I'm getting a little conscious of my age and whatnot, and I am really trying to stay focused on the contemporary, and not be one of those "everything was better back in '91 kind of people. With that in mind, I recognize that kids these days have no idea who Kim Deal and Steve Albini...

I saw Heroic Doses open up for I think Sunny Day Real Estate when I lived in Austin, that was a great show!

I really loved his "solo" album, the one with Pencil Rot on it. Actually a lot of the later Pavement stuff has really grown on me as well. He's one of the most consistently great artists around, hopefully he'll still be putting out crazy shit when he's 70!

Reminds me of The Bats, pretty cool. I think some kind of melodic flute part would sound cool in there!

I've lived in both places. I'd say at this point both are over rated as far as desirability for musicians, but that will depend on a lot of subjective factors. If I were you I'd be more original and move someplace in the midwest or new mexico or something like that.

Have you tried the demo for Guitar Rig? I really hated it when I tried it out... A 57 is always good to have...might not be great on your acoustic but you can use it on tons of stuff...plenty of people have used them on acoustic guitar though. I know people can seem condescending on here, but I thin...

I like your stuff...I'm not sure whether you are going for the freak folk thing or a more Jeff Buckley kind of thing with wanting to add the reverb. I'd stick to a rawer sound for your kind of stuff live, no need to add extra stuff. I think your vocals sound great, but it sounds like you are trying ...
