I've used a pair of fatheads on the top from opposite sides (mics facing each other) in a nice big wooden bedroom...sounded awesome with the hard slap room in the mics...

I'm at the point where I need to buy some better converters to improve my sound...see my gear above.... do I buy the prism orpheus? that is mega bucks... do I buy a Lynx with FW card and some kind of controller? what else is there? I could get the R16 and never look back?
