I only posted this here because I'd had no reply from elsewhere, no disrespect meant! I'd pay three times what you're charging for archive access by the way. It's a steal.

Dave, will send you PM & email.

Archive Access

I've paid for my archive access (last weekend) and I'm logged in, yet I still can't view the older articles. Every time I click the activate link it takes me through to the subscription sign-up page. Have I missed something? I probably have... EDIT: Apologies for posting this here, I did email the m...

It's not rubbish. The soundscapes are great. I don't hear much of the same kinds of hooks that really got me into Loveless. You can demo the whole thing on YouTube if you want. I don't need to, like I said I bought the super high quality wav + vinyl version. I'm a massive fan of MBV, especially fro...

According to the engineers who worked at Abbey Road (when interviewed for Recording The Beatles) the only album that was truly intended for stereo was Abbey Road. All other records were mixed in mono.Though some of the differences are subtle the stereo versions were recreated by the engineers withou...

New My Bloody Valentine album out now

Just handed over money as fast as humanly possible. Vinyl & 96k/24bit wav for me.

So incredibly excited, though kind of scared to listen in case it's rubbish.

That's fair enough, but I've had a number of items like records sent to the UK for cheaper. Still going to pay it though, no choice.

It's quite expensive for postage on a magazine, I've had larger items sent for less from the US. Still cheaper than buying an iPad though.

$80!

Oh well, I've had years of a good deal with the free subs, when I get paid I'm buying one of these.

TapeOp in the UK after subscription changes

Are you going to be offering subscriptions mailed from the USA to UK readers? I realise this will cost more, but I need my TapeOp! I don't have an iPad, and I don't really want to read the magazine on my Kindle (monochrome wouldn't be so good) or my iPhone. Will you offer a PDF/desktop subscription?...

Awesome, thanks. It's a little pricey but the piano feature swung it!

iPhone Chord Finder App?

Help me. I love alternate tunings. I suck at music theory. Can anyone suggest a guitar chord finder app for iPhone that can let me tap in a chord and tuning and tell me what I'm playing? This is basically for speeding up songwriting.

Question about vinyl side length vs quality

I've got a new record which I'll be looking to put out on vinyl, which is 46 minutes long. I'd prefer to keep it on one record, but all the information I've found online cautions against having more than 22 minutes per side at 33rpm. Is this a realistic idea? What's the maximum you'd have on one sid...

The new laptops looks awesome, but boo  to this. Apparently there won't be much, if any, ability to upgrade them after initial purchase unless you're going through Apple. "... RAM is soldered to the motherboard" WHA? http://www.macgasm.net/2012/06/13/ifixit-retina-macbook-pro-least-reparable-l...

I'm desperate to upgrade my Santa Rosa Macbook Pro (3.1), mainly because I've no idea if it will run Mountain Lion, but the new retina MBP is ludicrously expensive. I'd need the 512GB drive, but the only option for me is to buy the top end MBP to get it rather than upgrade the lower spec model. In t...

Yeah, I also confused things with an extra M, I meant 'DM Mastering'. Looks like there's just Abbey Road in the UK.
