In need of a manager/booking person.
The baker should not run the bakery. I need someone to manage and book my studio. 15% commission on all work sent my way. Anybody know anyone? Brooklyn or NYC preferred, of course.

Re: I mixed with no contract and now I think I lost $1200.
Mixed 4 songs for these "music group", agreed to $45 an hour, mixes approved, delivered, including live tracks (no vocal) and now I'm not getting responses from them. Billed $1200, and actually charged $1000 (discount). We didn't have a contract (stupid me). Am I totally screwed? Is there anything ...

Take it from and old guy, wear ear plugs. Find some that you are comfortable with and keep them in. I like the blue ones shooters wear. You can also get some custom made ones that dont hit the highs too much. If your ears ring, you have done damage. Wish I knew this 25 years ago. Preaching to the c...

First time in a while my ears don't ring after a show. NIN
I went to the final NIN show at terminal 5, and to my surprise, it was not painfully loud, everything was really balanced and I enjoyed 3 hours of very good sound! Any other shows where the sound is so that you don't regret it when you go to sleep? In the sound department, I mean. Even when I go to ...

Well being here and still working with what ever we can get our hands on, i have ocme to realize that there is a lot of solidarity andn really never paid any attention to it. right now we are doing something similar to what happened with joel in a smaller scale, with a new band called V for Volume,...

Hi all, i just found this out. Dr Rodolfo Llin?s is a very respected Colombian, as there are many, many around the world. The attention this thread has inspired made me realize there is a lot more to Colombia than drugs and violence. As joel pointed out, there are hardworking, generous people that w...

I am Colombian
Joel, i can only echo those around me - thanks for sharing this. I'm inspired by the idea of being able to utilise disparate and imperfect materials where it really matters, and when time and money is pressing. I also enjoy the fact that an experienced professional can still be thrown in at the dee...
