I grabbed two of them, i called and had them price match it to $99 cause they where at $399 i think. Went back a few days later to grab one for my boss and they where sold out. Sure glad i got the two i did. I was getting tired of surfing eBay trying to find something that included the vouchers.

So bought 5 20ft midi cables from Guitar Center ($40). Cut them all in half...

The question is, when syncing the two together i have been linking the Digimax via bnc cable to the send sync on the Firestudio. Should i get an external sync device to sync both ...

Not that I am a complete purist, but too many of the "studios" on this gallery site consist of a desk, a sampling keyboard, and a computer. Perhaps I am just a humbug, but where are the boards? The racks of gear? the drum sets? Oh, more and more I miss the "good ol' days"... There would be more boa...

So in theory you could use a shielded TRS cable... Then run your MIDI into a patch bay. Thus eliminating the need for larger input output midi interfaces! You could run your hole studio off 1 in 1 out if you don't need to record simultaneously. Wow! But maybe I'm wrong and the patch bay wont work......

Does any one make a digital patch bay? Something you can plug all you outboard to in the back via TRS or even xlr. Then from either the computer or some simple hardware interface control where the sound goes. It just seems to easy to loose some sound or gain noise through all the extra cables patch ...
