almost forgot. the card was bundled with cubase soundtrack24, and it doesn't seem to be able to record at all, there's no arm to record buttons, i cant import other audio, etc. it crashes anytime i hit the record button on the transport, should i just get rid of it?

well, it seems i have signal flow into the card, the drivers are installed correctly, and it is set to the c-port in the control panel. i just messed around with it some, before i checked this, and it seems that for some reason, my 5-8 channels won't record onto the tracks i set them to. 1-4 work fi...

okay here's the deal i just got a trs-trs snale to go from my mixer-sound card, and i found out i need unbalanced on the card, and that the only reaosn i need trs on the mixer is so it casn return from a processor. should a ts-ts snake work? or should i figure out how to mod the snake i've got, or s...

big muffs are awesome. well worth the money. if i could only have one of the threee distortion units i run, this would be the one. smahsing pumpkins "siamese dream" era distortion comes to mind when i think of this tone. its so wooly and nice sounding. mmmm...wool

yeah the first aux is switchable, i think im going to try this pretty soon. i haven't been recording anything yet that needs any effects. but that's just for this moment. thanks for the help.
