Have you tried Google? I got some sketchy links when I tried for you. But one page said that it was supposed to power a 3.2ohm cab?! And somebody else was claiming that Acoustic heads really sound best when paired with Acoustic cabs. I've always been a big fan of mix and match setups, but there coul...

BungleFever FTP Site
Hey Peeps, I just thought I'd share something I discovered years ago. ftp://bunglefever.com/pub/ Sometimes you need to try a few times to get in. And it really works best with an FTP client (try FileZilla on Windows - I dunno on Mac) LOTS of cool shit there. Much of it Mike Patton related (obviously...

Perhaps this decision will undermine the sanctity of the whole thing, but there wasn't much sanctity to begin with. So, what the heck. If you truly feel that it's crappy and it represents your naive early phase of recording, I think it will make a great addition to the compilation. Any purist liste...

Go here and pick whatever you want... http://www.snarlnet.com/mp3/HiSkool/ Some of that shit was recorded on a one track http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/images/5101849A64UC185102M.jpg some was recorded on a Fostex 8-Track with reverb and shit. Does the one-track stuff not meet your criteria? I...

Toaster 3000 is in a band with Jojo.... I have recorded Jojo. He is a great drummer. This is not a gear talk topic. I "discovered" Jojo via a Toaster 3000 post to this board. He blows minds. My post may have been OT, but I believe that the original post IS gear talk. I learned some stuff that I bel...

I got a Boss Micro BR 4-track from my wife. Does anyone have any cool recordings done with one of those things? I'd like to get inspired by what it can do. Also, can anyone recommend a "bang for the buck" stereo external mic for the thing? It's got 2.5 volts of power for an electret condenser. I'd l...

That was funny, really cool, but the narrator got a lot of stuff wrong. When he said "it's all in the wrist" you could see that the guy's wrists actually weren't moving *at all*, which is the key to playing blazing fast like that, it's actually all in the fingers. I don't know if I can play my cymba...

I think generally it's considered a no-no to run A/C power lines anywhere near signal lines (including data - ethernet, etc.) If they must be near each other, you want them to cross perpendicularly, not run parallel for any length. Can you run the A/C conduit a couple joist bays over? You could try ...
