The hdmi and usb cables have been fine.
The audio cables (1/4 instrument and mini plug extension) were total crap. Worst 1/4 cables I've ever bought.

MSE, I'm imagining a future where the internet has been corporatized to a degree where it's very difficult or impossible to do what you're doing now. That may or may not happen, but it seems to be moving in that direction. If that happens, that's when an offline movement would take place. As things...

I think Ill go to a mall food court. When I catch someone staring at me for what I consider too long I shall yell "Stop listening to the songs in my head! You are not coll enough!". Then flipping the sign of the new revolution to the digital addled masses I will high kick it back into the future (an...

I have no idea why Rhianna or Big Star would be considered exclusive. Kickstarter is the complete opposite of exclusive. Unless its Cobain I can't recall any other artist saying they are reaching too many people. There is an actual revolution taking place and all I hear is "Boy I wish I could go bac...

people produce music, film, art, books, etc. in only analog forms, that you would have to find in real, live, actual space people making records (or cassettes-- they're cheaper, and easier to dupe in small numbers) with no digital files included, and no digital files or CDs for sale It might even b...

Completely retro pointless bullshit. You have at your literal fingertips the ability to promote your art to anyone in the world and now it's not cool enough? More elitism and needless hoop jumping needs to be put in place to make something more "real"? Pointless. It's hilarious how its okay and cool...

Just have fun. Not everyone will like it. You'll see folks doing a lot of things other than watching you perform up on the stage. Some might be heading for the exits during your second song. Just have a good time. AND DONT Take forever to load on or off the stage. Show some class. Stare at one guy i...

Can this track be salvaged
Got a terrible sounding ride going on in the drum overheads. A horrible whooshing sound. Bad placement on the mics and lack of attention to them while recording. Can this be fixed/made less noticeable/salvaged with some EQing or something else? Or is it scrap em and rerecord. Here's the offending so...

Re: A place to bitch about a TapeOp sale gone sour?
Is there a proper place to post warnings/heads up about sales that have been arranged on the board but that have gone sour. I know it's rare but I have a complaint that I think folks should be aware of and I don't really know where to put it. So your whole complaint is that the guy went a day later...
