i'd say if learning how to play drums is a huge priority, by all means get and electronic set. if, however, you believe that an electronic set will help you to emulate an acoustic set, i think you would be better off using samples. they're practically giving away G4s on ebay. unless i'm really just behind the times (which i may be, seriously), that may save you quite a bit of cash. ps. love the debate, keeps my thinking cap on. love the infighting too, it makes me laugh. obviously i don't have cable. rob g

i agree that alot of their sound comes from the fingers. as far as production, try a 4 track. an old one.

this happens all the time here in smelL A. some of these clubs make over $2000.00 before the doors are even opened for the evening. the bands sell tickets (local bands)and give the club the money at soundcheck. oh, and 10% of merch sales as well. can't say i blame the clubs because people keep on pa...
