And it's not that far away, dammit. I'm right by the bridge though, so maybe we're thinking of two differen...

I think you both have valid points but your thinking about it in different ways..his is a more technical circut/spec kind of pov and yours a more practical real world/in the room pov.. Like what your thinking of is not what hes thinking of..I mean thats still not an excuse to act like a complete pr...

Looking around the web it sounds like this is "just a digidesign thing", and I wouldnt understand. Seems like digi's strategy is to make th...

Frequency response and guitar cabinets
Okay, I got into this discussion (more like a total fucking flamefest) with a guy on another board and would like some input from some actual experts. I've edited this post to remove the unrelated BS. Yes romp different woods do make different sounds. Tone is not frequency response, so please don't ...

Excellent for cleans and bluesy distortion. The lead on this is way short, but it's simple enough to lengthen it (just...

FS: EQ, power amp, killer cabinet
I really don't want to list these things on eBay... their fees suck ass. Ross 31 band graphic EQ: Good EQ for the price. It's this or something Behringer... what do you prefer? $50 Tubeworks MosValve MV-962 power amp: 80 watt per side stereo power amp, voiced for guitar but works well with eve...

I just recently made a brilliant discovery! When you record and make everthing loud and try to limit the master from, for example, +10dB down to -.3dB... it sounds like ass. It's much better to make everything louder after the fact than to make it quieter. That probably made no sense, but whatever. ...
