http://www.gregbennettguitars.com/electricportal_mini.html these guitars are even smaller than 3/4 scale, not sure the scale, but they're about 20" long total, which makes them great for the lil ones. guitars sound and feel very different using a capo, but thats definitely a good thought if you're n...

Why haven't you linked to the many sources where you've read that this happens? the pdf's i posted were easily accessible source...

what are your and your audiences' expectations for the record? is it something you are trying to shop to a label? will you have distribution? how much of the investment are you trying to get back? consider what you are trying to do with the release, and to what level of standards it needs to be held...

okay, i'll address this first. Seriously, be honest with me for a second. Did you really read all of these or did you maybe, just maybe, post a bunch of crap you got from school with the hope that the volume of it might overwhelm? the purpose of the papers was to specifically cite where i came acros...

i've also had luck putting a 57 up to a wall, or glass, and catching that reflection coming real hard off the wall. for your application, maybe stage rear, centered (obviously), pointed at the front wall of the auditorium? get that "backstage" sound. i've also covered up the rear phase delay ports o...

okey dokey, didn't actually realize this was still trucking. it was indeed just hearsay that sudden shock causes high frequency loss in magnetic tape, because, well, i've never dropped a tape, much less dropped a tape i had an exact copy of, and then proceeded to run tests on both tapes. perhaps i w...

are these clicks occurring during sustains? the most clicks/pops/glitches that i had heard in people's mixes are caused by sustaining guitars. in most cases its caused from hitting the a/d or digital bussing too hard. i would make sure that you are metering your a/d, and have knowledge of how that m...
