Re: Pedal Chain question

Personally, I would run it like so:

Boss OD
EH Octave
Flanger
Reverse Delay
Boss Delay
Pastrami

but thats just me, I'm sure theres probably a better combination

Re: Ampeg Reverberocket

Ya, its the re-issue Im lookin at. I play shoegazey/rock stuff, so there will be LOTS of pedals run through it. Id love to get a twin, but the price is a little out of my league and the ampeg is $450. The other guy I play with uses a Sunn Model T, so if I ran the ampeg in stereo with my super reverb...

Ampeg Reverberocket

Anyone have any firsthand experience with this amp? HarmonyCentral loves it, but all the reviews seem to mention its great for jazz and blues, and i want the ROCK. Im lookin at the 2x12 combo, to potentially run in stereo with my SuperReverb.

Re: Super Reverb help!

Well I'm sure if it was mic'ed up to the PA, it would sound fine. Its looking like I'm just gonna have to get something more powerful when playin with another guitarist. FWIW, I'm runnin the Zvexx Super Hard On at the end of my pedal chain, and its still not enough.

Re: Super Reverb help!

Thats what I was afraid of. I love this amp so much, I'd hate to set it aside strictly for recording and small gigs. I guess what Im really asking is, if this thing was hot-rodded as much as possible, would it have any chance of competing with the Sunn ModelT or a Marshall?

Super Reverb help!

I've got some amp questions I'm hoping you knowledgable folks can help me with. Please bear with me, this might be a little long winded. I'm the proud owner of a 74 Super Reverb. Ive been completely happy with this amp from day one. Amazing tone, very reliable, every sound Ive gotten out of it I've ...

Re: olympia, WA trip

well positively 4th st. no longer exists, so I would suggest Phantom City or Rainy Day for music. Music 6000 is alright but reminds a little to much of Guitar Center (they are way to eager to make a sale) so check out Capitol City Guitars. And I would second the recommendation for ERS, that place RO...

Re: The New Cure album

I think the songs themselves are the best batch of Cure songs in ages, but I find it literally painful to listen to. When I first get a new CD i pop it in my car stereo and crank it up as loud as I can take it. By the third song I had it turned almost totally off becuase of the excruciating pain my ...

Re: What's the big deal with Phish?

oddly enough, I read somewhere that Trey is a HUGE My Bloody Valentine fan and he gave major props to Kevin Shields for being an innovative tone genius or something. He even stated that he wanted to cover Loveless in its entirety for one of thier Halloween shows, but got shot down by the rest of the...
