Why are you trying to go "small"? Do you have a recording to reference what your trying to get? Small amps are great ways to get monster sounds. Think Fender Champs and "Layla". MC5 didn't know that all their huge amp stacks would result in weak ass guitar sounds when they first recorded.

Most of the time, the refurbish stuff is newly discontinued mac product. Unintentionally or not, the quoted reply is a little misleading. Advice: buy refurbished Mac from Apple.com and apply the savings to Apple Care. The refurbish stuff is gone over well and may be up to better specs than the brand spanking new stuff.
