Night of the hunter Music Video -Mastered in Waver Burner

Hey folks here's a music video we've been working on for the last few months. I recorded the song on my fostex g 16 and mastered it in waveburner mostly using the adaptive limiter, which I find natural sounding, but its hard to get it real loud using that. Anyhow, check it out you won't be disappoin...

Liam Watson Toe Rag Studios- Paper Ceiling Tile treatment

Did anyone notice that the toe rag recording studio seems to be treated with retro paper acoustic ceiling tiles? I have some in the ceiling of my basement and they definitely deaden a room a bit but not drastically. They are still sold at hardware stores has anyone treated their walls with them and ...

Lexicon Outboard Effects And Other Outboard Reverbs?? Guide

Hey I currently own a Lexicon MPX1 and am pretty happy with the delays and reverbs it offers but could someone explain the differences between the units. The MPX1 sells used for around 300$ as do many of their newer models while some of their effects units sell for 2,000$ and up. How big is the diff...

Woah I must be way off I regularly go +3 or 0 on a regular basis many of the analog recording books that are tape specific have said to do the same. The only time I don't do this is for folk or softer bands I'll bring it down to -3.

I don't necessarily think spotify is the future for the states but its pretty popular in some european countries so unless you are already making a substantial amount of money through downloads and have alot of fans willing to pay for your album I'd go ahead and put it on spotify. The first month I ...

Reckon what I am driving at is I've never played many older basses but the pickups combined with the flat wounds that are currently on this thing sound amazing to me. The new solid body basses don't seem to have much going for them in the ways of mojo.

I'm not a bass player but a songwriter/guitar player/ engineer and my bass player has been playing his 1300$ fender jazz bass which I have yet to be impressed with. I was debating between getting a good dynamic (senn421/ev20/) or some more pedals and this thing came across my path. I doubt I'll ever...

The bass was never used its in the original bag with the strap still in its sealed bag. The brand name on is actually Juiliette/gillette? the accordion company in italy but it was clearly made by eko. After playing the bass a little I just realized the 60's bass sound had so much to do with the type...

1960's EKO Electric Hollowbody Bass Worth Buying?
