Left handed piano? yeah, its real... check it out!!!

Has anyone ever heard about such a thing? Since when do sound waves behave like the backwards spinning toilet cliche? Maybe this is a common thing that you guys have dealt with. Personally, I was a little blown away.

Ok,

so now that I have the actual dilemma solved I'm still interested in some of the technology involved. Do any of you have any experience with varicap aka varactor diode (diode controlled capacitance)???

I don't understand how these could work?!

wow, thats pretty over the top. i like how his coils are wound into spider web like structures.

Ok guys if I use a 365pf variable cap, how would that effect the value of the inductor which is 200uh for a 500 pf cap.

P.S. I can't believe you can't get the 500pf variable cap as a ceramic?!

thanks for the ideas people. I guess part of the problem is that I don't know how precise the cap has to be to function correctly as a tuner. It is couple with a 200uh inductor. I also know that there are variable inductors but I am not sure what effect that would have propotionally. heres a look at...

500pf variable cap, how can i get it?

I am working with a circuit that calls for a 500pf variable cap and I cannot find one ANYWHERE.

Tried the usual suspects mouser, digikey, jameco, allied. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

thanks as always,

Experienced Guitar Tech Available in Minneapolis

In short I have performed hundreds of setups and I am in a time of my life where I am not doing as much guitar work (as my main profession has changed). Frankly I miss it. I do general setups: Truss rod tweaks Intonation Bridge adjustment Electric repair Pickup swaps and all sorts of other repairs I...

unfortuneatly, if it is solid state it is probly not worth the cost of the bench time to get it looked at and most of the places listed may not want to deal with it at all.

I would recommend EMI on johnson and 29th in NE they do a lot more with solid state stuff.
