I am looking for cheap mics for home recording. Mostly guitars, though sometimes drums, bass, keyboard, clarinet, etc.etc. I am looking at the array of MXL's on sale for cheap prices, (mxl 990, V63M, V57, 2001, 1006, or the 603S) and am somewhat baffled as to what a good set of choices would be.
