Is there any analog tape that does not shed or gum?

I have found most tapes I have used will gum, shed or slow your tape machine down in time. even the newer 456 499 sheds, run's on my MCI's fine but stops or slows the Orari's, even the old 3M-220 I have to bake, I have found only two tapes that never gave me problems over time one is the EMtec 900 2...

New Verb

I can't say anything good about new outboard reverb not unless it's cost you your right testicle, and I think I will keep mine. but there is some very good older stuff that I still enjoy and use, the old LP 140 Plate is great Vocals drums and so is the 1983 lexicon reverberator 200, the Yamaha D5000...

Thanks dude but I an sorry it is not a matter of electret cheep or sounding bad... some of them sound quite good and rock as overheads and instrumental recording, it would just be nice if we knew just a little more about the capsule we are purchasing. Thanks for the post. Peace and Lub.
