Has anyone done this? I've done guitar and other larger speaker cabinets in the past and I'm sure I can handle the carpentry... I just don't know which drivers to use and X-over specs, etc.

Get a Rode NT 2 or an NT 2A (around $500), a pair of Rode NT5s or a Rode NT4 (around $500) and then get a 2 Channel API clone from www.regularjohnrecording.com/ (around $750) and you'll still have $250 left over.

That's a solid setup there.

Here's what I was going to do based on what I have in terms of ins/outs... The only piece of outboard gear I have right not is a FMR RNC... everything else will come in time and I'll expand the bay as needed..
