Re: Reverb flavors
I have 2 pzm's taped on the walls/ceiling as far away from everything as possible happening in the live room, which is not big. Those get crushed through a valley people dynamite on peak limit/de-ess settings. I have a ev 664 pointed against a metal music stand, against my drum set behind me. That run...

Re: What mic is this?
Yep.
They also made one with an on/off switch.
sm 589.
I picked up 2 of them, along with 2 small battery powered solid state self powered shoulder strapped speakers (6" speakers) from a retired auctioneer.

I have an anvil road case for it. I went to sell it at local music go round pre-covid,and the offer was so ridiculous,I Ju...

I use the same thing digitaldrummer linked, and similar units. They are right in my racks. I use some rattail extensions to be able to fit the occasional wallwart. No issues at all, and total convenience to turn on just the units I need on. Here's two, next to the arrows: https://live.staticflickr....

Re: Should it stay or should it go?
I sold mine years ago & still regret it. Never had an Orban, but it's definitely in a different category than the Furmans--more mannered & controlled than most spring verbs. Re: Cymbals/How far to go
That tour was wonderful,if a little frustrating, since we were doing 45 minutes every 2 or 3 days. Wasnt used to that slow of a schedule,as we were road dawgs at that point/300 shows a year. Band and crew were wonderful. Since we were the opening act,i prepared myself for the sonic castration deal-L...

I did FOH/recorded demos/studio guitar tech'd for Soul Asylum,we did an opening tour with Expensive Winos early 90's. We got the warning from the road manager-"Don't try to keep up with Keith-Many have died." I think I saw that tour at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. That tour was wonderful,if a li...
