Man, I used to be on frndstr daily I even dated ladies through it. It wasn't my bag. Some folks was cool some weren't as maibla said it loses its lust. I found it most useful for writing to other folks when I was thinking of moving outta NYC to Seattle. I think I will save that fer retirement ... en...

Re: Concert-going etiquette
what do the Jeffs say about,
Bumping into someone and then they demand you buy them another drink.
If I light up a joint am I obligated to pass it around?
If I have money in my wallet should I pass that around too?
Drunk frat fellas that scream along with every lyric or just yell throughout the show.

Re: Soundcraft Spirit M12?
I bought one as a front end for my 001 and have pretty much the same opinion as everyone else here, good pres but not great, nice eq, no bus kinda sucks, the allen and heath is probably just as good and a little more flexible. I paid $600 for my Spirit M8 so $500 for an M12 sounds great.

Re: 50 Power Hits - New FREE wav samples (or Reason refill)
Dear Doru, I downloaded those off the Reason website and Reason isn't recognizing them. The folder opens but Reason doesn't see anything. Guess I should trash it and try again. As I was opening all the refills I downloaded I thought, "Man this is great someone spends a lot of time putting these thin...

Wow What a hip hop story indeed, I was on the edge of my seat. Living by the projects myself, I am amazed this guy had the rig you wrote about. I think thats a fantastic acomplishment in itself. Clearly the gentleman was focused on music, not hot water, soap or towels. He deserves more than yer snob...

Strikes, Man I played at the Electric Banana when I was in Highschool like around '94/95. The owner was a real jerk, but his wife was supercool makin' hotdogs and kool aid for us. I was just home over X-mas n sadly the E. Banana is gone. It is now some Italian restaurant. Yeah pittsburgh always seem...

Re: Cheap Chinese LD condensors kicking my butt
I gotta Marshall V69 Tube mic after Tapeop reviewed it. It was $300. I am very impressed with it and use it on everything. Folks who do have better mic lockers with 103's and 414's and also the V69 really like it for acoustic guitar. My biggest concern is that the tube is in the mic body not the pow...

Re: Recording software for Mac and PC
Try putting four clicks or one click at the beginning of each track then save em as aiff or wav or even MP3. Send or FTP each individual track to yer mate. Import the files into yer DAW line up the clicks and bingo.
