Any opinions on the Saffire Pro40? I can't stretch to the liquid saffire. Sure, just scroll up. I'd be more than happy to answer specific questions if you have them about the Pro40. Ah, sorry for asking something that's already been answered, didn't notice it. What's the verdict on the plug-in's yo...

The Dimarzio Super II is pretty cool aswell, Josh Homme used them in Kyuss and QOTSA right up to the LTP album.

I use a Bare Knuckle Warpig in the bridge position on my LP Custom. Lots of output with a tight pronounced low end, but keeps thing very tight and defined. I've turned a couple other players onto the company in general and that particular pickup and I've heard a lot of positive comments. They have ...

You've kind of answered your own question. 500 series racks are only for 500 series modules. There are tons of people making them now. See this thread for more 500 series info: http://messageboard.tapeop.com/viewtopic.php?t=49035 I know that Audient has a module format that has a 500 series adapter...

I was talking more about things like (and I'm well aware this might fall into the "stupid question" category) the SSL Xrack modules or DBX 900 modules etc.

Looking for Definative Answer re.API 500 series rack

I've been trying to get an answer on this for a while, just thought I would throw it open to you folks, all input is appreciated. Other than the stuff advertised anyone know of anything else that will fit in the 500 rack?

Telefunken Dynamic Mics?

I see these come up for sale every now and again at very reasonable prices (sub 100gbp) my question is, are they any good? I know the reputation of their tube mic's but I wondered if the dynamics were any cop.

It might cost a little more than 150 but the Micro Korg is a stellar bit of kit.

For years I just played with my finger nail, kindof reinforcing it with my thumb. As if I was holding a pick, but no pick. I kinda liked not being reliant on finding a pick to play. Then I discovered jazz picks, which is basically all I've ever used since. I totally, utterly suck at guitar though. ...
