European guitar FX power supply questions

I'm touring the UK & the EU for a couple of weeks. The countries (in case it makes a difference: UK, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany). I'm playing electric guitar through a half-dozen effects. According to the info I've found on the web, I can use my one-spot power supply for my ped...

"Why the hell would you trash those tapes if they have music that you like on them? The are a much more stable archive of that music than whatever you're digitizing them to. "

a bunch of tape labels use tapes.com but the quality seems highly variable... specifically, the reels always seem to have too much wobble. i miss the days of the maxell 60 minute shells that were built like tanks.

I saw this article on a blog a while back. Frankly, I'm skeptical- they cite no real sources, and in fact the music industry still moves the majority of their music as a physical product- millions of CDs. Check out the comments on the post...

The guy was such a prick that I can only assume I hit him on a bad day. I wouldn't fly Air Tran for years afterwards. Southwest, fwiw, has always been amazingly nice & accommodating, and very lenient with heavy baggage fees/ carry-ons. I've found many security folks to be more interested in checking...

They seem to look for narrow box or tube-like things that show up opaque in the x-ray: ie, things that look like bombs (mics, wah pedals, steel guitar bars, slides, etc). I have also had to explain the ebow. And I've had to get pushy about carrying my guitar on time and again. The worst, however, wa...

EKS in Long Island City was doing 100 LP vinyl runs about a year ago for 650 bucks. I did two different releases with them and the quality was decent, and they were super fast. A bonus for NYC residents is that Will drives them over to your house in his pickup truck, saving you many dollars in shipp...

Also the 2880 has the speed up/slow down fun of 16 sec delay. But at the price of the 2880, I imagine you'd find a re-issue 16 sec delay cheaper. I've heard that the original 16 secs are fragile but I have no experience with either. I think a lot of loopers out there can do something like this but ...
