Only problem was since they we're using a PA for vocals, vox didn' come out so well, but tracking additional vocals over them seemed to do t...

I have a gig tomorrow and I am going to have to take the advice of Mr. Albini. A three piece punk band, one room, four mics. I'll let you know how it comes out.

What I do is plug the bass into an extra mixer that I have and send him a headphone mix while I record his drums onto another board. So the bass and drums are playing together, but only the drums are being t...

Looking for a sound guy for new Venue in the North Bay

Thanks for looking. A new venue in Petaluma CA, is desparently seeking a sound guy to set-up/tear-down and run sound board for upcoming punk shows. Mostly just vocals. Ideal candidate will have own equipment, however House does have a board, and monitors, needs power amp, cables, stands and mics. Yo...

A new pro-audio retailer just opened up in my small town. Wierd I tell you. But anyways, they carry the Raven and the Cardinal. The box said $199.00, the clerk told me they could "definately" give me a better price. I'm thinking I'll get one and and let you all know what I think. I'm pretty sure my ...
