Anyone got any more info on this? Were there different xformers or vca's used? Anything like that? Any noticeable differences? I would be hard pressed to use two of these in stereo, (unlinked), of different builds.

About to pick this up. Taking the amp out of the equation, do you guys ever have trouble getting usable, solid sounds from these? Can't go wrong with a real Les Paul, right? Would a pick-up replacement be worth considering?

You know, my friend had a Fender "Evil" Twin with red knobs and tons of routing options, that kinda comes to mind as well.
