Driving Preamps Hard. How to attenuate?
When you drive a preamp hard, what's a good way to attenuate after the preamp?
I don't own a decent outboard compressor and as far as I know you can't change the input levels (except for -10/+4) on my audio interface.

anyone know where to buy the stuff in NYC? TIA! I'm very interested in this too. I was under the impression that 705 was fairly cheap (around $9.00 for 2'x4'x2" like in Houston). Home Depot came up on the dealer search at the OC site. I checked the store in Yonkers, and they didn't seem to have any.
