Looks like it was a custom order from her. A very professional job. The Nord Electro was painted in black to suit the stand, seemingly.

Anyone knows that cool looking keyboard?

I don't care about the band (First aid kit). it's the first time i see a digital keyboard that looks cool. It's not analog.

ANAMOD ATS-1 with AMPEX 350 351 card

ANAMOD ATS-1 with AMPEX 350 351 card. Very best analog emulation of vintage magnetic tape, praised by professionals and used in top studios. Standard tape formulation cards: GP9 and 456. Standard machine cards: A800 and M79. Absolutely perfect condition, with VERY VERY little use, in my home studio....

I stopped using condensor mics as I don't think they sound good with daw and an average sounding room. Ribbon mics only these days except for drums and acoustic guitar, in this case i use faster dynamic mics. I'm interested in the 4080 and 4081 because of their output and also because I find my R84 ...

AT 4080 & 4081 has anyone tried these new ribbon mics ?

They look very interesting, with condenser-like output and they're hand-built. I wonder how they compare with my R84 and M160. Has anyone had a taste of them?

I tend to be over critical about my recording space. It's not a tiny space and it's neither dark or bright, pretty balanced. It's just not as large and balanced as some of the great recording rooms i've been. I'll try using Mid-side stereo this week with my R84 and probably a M160, but I think I cou...

Sonic depth & stereo imagery using one mic

I've been listening to Mark Hollis solo album quite obsessively for weeks. I love the sonic realism of that recording . Here's how it was recorded : - the music was captured with a Neumann M49 stereo pair that was kept in the same position during the whole recording - each instrument was recorded on...

Just curious, what did you hate about it? Was it an old one with an aged speaker?

Amp head + speaker VS combo

I have a Twin reverb. What advantage(s) would turning this combo amp into a head + speaker cabinet give to me ?

How can I turn a 2 channel Twin amp into a 1 channel Twin ?

I love the tone of my Twin Reverb Reissue, but it's unnecessary loud for recording instrument after instrument like I do at home. I heard one could easily turn this amp into a mono channel amp by removing a few valves and disconnecting 1 of the 2 speakers. Does anyone have more information about thi...

This survey is the only time I've been happy to have a limited number of mics!

Instead of "warm" I would use "colored". Warm can be understood as dark.

Has anyone tried the Fethead by Triton audio?

I'm curious about this product. I'd love to get some extra clean gain for my ribbon mics.

I like Bosphorus. Real Zildjian style cymbals that don't cost much and use the same alloy and manufacturing process. I love their Masters series.
