You're not wrong, and no offense taken. I'm definitely in the beginner end of the spectrum. Thank you for the reasonable words & advice! Indeed I've been bitten by the bug and want to be able to make the best recordings I can with the least amount of frustration. That's a good insight about workflow...

Music 6000 in Olympia, WA was the place that first informed me of TapeOp, and I believe I was provided with an issue as well. So I wouldn't be surprised if they carried the magazine. This was 6 or 7 years ago though. . .
