I have a nice ATR60-16 and a Studiomaster P7. 15 Ips on Quantegy 456

Samplitude gets used pretty often depending on the project, track count is usually the trigger.

Analog has been shown to reduce OCD tendencies in 80% of recording engineers ;)

I thought I saw a nice comment from Joe Chicarelli at the artistpro bbs.

but they have the same feeling about us. Then there's this Skye guy. He doesn't like home studios because they are competition. He has to diss you because you can do a better job, cheaper, and he knows it. Skye writes for Homerecording Mag, I have some of his articles. Interesting I thought. Im sur...

Re: Professional Mastering services

My Weight is up....my debt is up and I think my taxes are up too :) I bought Samplitude a few weeks ago and have been learning how to work faster and sampling the native Samplitude processing. Lots of fun. I had the opportunity to take some raw blues tracks to experiment with. Its nice to learn new ...

Re: Do you remember your first ever... microphone?

The original Mr. Microphone was my first mic. My parent were trying to encourage me to be a vocalist instead the drummer they had raised me to be. I bought a guitar later. My first recording mic that I purchased was a Marshall V63M. I wanted to hear a cheap condensor. $69 seemed like a good price. N...

I like Joe...and Vai..and Malmsteen..and Paul Gilbert...Joey Tafolla, Tony McAlpine...Randy Rhoades...etc... I like guitar work of all sorts and don't really care what other people think. Green is my favorite color and Nacho's my favorite food. Its all about taste and nobody can tell me what I think...

After that you start weeding out the specifics through trial and error auditioning if your a freelancer. If you a house engineer o...

Re: studio rebuild/referb, how offten?

OVERBUILD the first time I ll add that you should never assume that your studio is "done". I designed mine 2 years ago and 1/2 of it is still unfinished. IM still experimenting with different things, because sometimes what you design isn't always what works best until you start driving it. I tried ...
